This is a very creative but fantastic vampire love story! You will not find any of the normal vampire myths at play, this is pure creativity on the part of the author, and I have to say that I loved it. The love between Summer and Savion is deeply emotional, and the author does a great job in getting that point across. There is also plenty of tension because you have the jilted bad guy husband, the nosy older sister, and then there is the horny brother-in-law and his friends, the band’s women, and let us not forget Blaze! All of these different factors keep this story moving along at a nice pace. The added bonus of the spirit of Nahtosha, and the story surrounding the dragon’s tooth just make this book even more fun to read. If the idea of reading a vampire story with a whole new mythology appeals to you, then I highly recommend, Savvy My Heart Love Bites!

When Storm leaves and goes to the Casino with Stoke he explains about the curse and what is needed of her when she has won the money. Stoke pleads with Storm to give him one night and then she can make her decision. Storm has never felt this way about any man and she knows she has fallen for Stoke. But can Storm trust another man so soon after all she has been through? Neither Stoke nor Storm knows of another scheme being carried on behind their backs; a plan that destroys any chance for Storm or Stoke.
This story is a blast. Chock full of action and loads of adventures, the Night Brigade is totally intriguing. Right off the bat this is the fourth book in this series, and although it stands on its own easily, this reader recommends you start with the first, because there are some great characters that you will want to know more about and how they came to be. But believe me by the end of the book, you will want to read the others anyway. All in all this is sexy and entertaining read that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This reviewer’s personal preference would be to read the books in their correct order, even though each title stands on its own. Other than that minor flaw, I felt myself able to clearly picture the scenes before my eyes. Loads of excitement, good, bad, dead, undead, fire, what more can you ask for in a great paranormal romance?

Will he be able to convince her to join the clan before the evil vampires grab her for their own uses?
I have to admit I enjoyed the premise of this story. I like the fact that Ryker is a motorcycle riding vampire. I also enjoyed the mature characters that were spaced out in the book. Chalina has some spark to her that made her a complete woman as she works to gain her independence. Vampire Ride is a hot, heart-pounding read that I found entertaining. Storm Savage incorporates sizzling characters, excellent secondary players and non-stop attraction between Chalina and Ryker that leaps from the first page to the last.
